Bergen Fjellmaraton

Description

Bergen Mountain Marathon, one of Norway's most iconic uphill races that combines the city's vibrant energy with the raw nature of the mountains.

The start is from Fløyen in Bergen city center, and from there the course follows beautiful paths and mountain ridges through Bergen's spectacular city mountains. In total, participants will cover 21 km with 1,600 meters of elevation gain, before the finish at Skansemyren sports field.

Bergen Mountain Marathon is a demanding half marathon for those who love the combination of technical terrain, steep climbs and world-class views. The course takes you through classic mountains such as Rundemanen, Vidden and Ulriken - a trip that most people spend a whole day on, but which you can now experience in a competitive format with support from volunteers and cheers from the public.
