Description
In 2006, Oddvar Brå developed and established a test track for top athletes in cross-country skiing. The aim was to develop a test that gives good indications of physical capacity. The result was the Rapid Test. Over the years, a number of cross-country skiers have "checked" their form by completing this test. Today it is regularly used by, among others, Team Trøndelag and the cross-country skiers at the sports line at Heimdal Videregående Skole.
The steeplechase is 5 km long, has a height difference of 207 meters and follows established paths in Bymarka. The trail runs on firm ground and is little exposed to weather and wind.
