Description

The brothers' race consists of three distances, divided into two routes. If you run the marathon distance, the half-marathon route must be run twice, turning in front of Brøderup Efterskole. The 12 km route is marked with blue numbers and arrows, while the half marathon is marked with red.

• Blue and red routes are followed for the first 5 km. After this, the routes split, but come together again to form a common route for the last 2.5 km towards the finish line. Both routes take you through South Zealand's beautiful moraine landscape.

• Blue route has breathtaking views in several places. The route is slightly hilly and approx. 3 km of the route is run on a forest road.

• The red route, like the blue route, has breathtaking views in several places and consists of, among other things, of almost 10 km on gravel and forest road. One forest - Bækkeskov - was the Danish war hero Anders Lassen*'s playground as a child. You also run past the large gas pumping station, which is being established in connection with the Baltic Pipe project.

• On the blue 12 km route, you will meet the drink depot approximately in the middle of the route and at the finish line.

• On the red route, half and full marathon, there are drinking depots with water and energy drink (6%). There are depots at 5.5 km, 11 km, 16 km and the finish, and at 26.6 km, 32.1 km, 37.1 km and the finish for the marathon.

• The marathon runners have the option of additional fruit and other forms of energy supplement (sweets and dextrose) at the depots.

• The routes are marked with chalk arrows on the way in case of significant changes, signs with arrows and kilometer markings. For the marathon route, however, km marking is only per 5 km from ½ marathon to finish, but ½ marathon signs are markings per km. * Anders Lassen was the only foreigner outside Great Britain who, in connection with World War II recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest British honor for heroism. He was killed in action in Italy a few weeks before the end of the war. On the half-marathon route, you run past a small stone set in memory of Anders Lassen and his family. The stone set is designed as a small burial mound in the forest close to Himmerrigsdalen.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• There is parking at the school's sports hall. Instructions must be followed.

• Changing and showering is possible at the school's sports hall

• Registration and handing out of start numbers takes place in the school's old gym near the start and finish line.

• Issuance of start numbers for the marathon starts from 08.30 to 08.55.

• Registration and handing out of start numbers for the half marathon and 12 km is from 9.30 to 10.55.

• Marathon starts at 09.00, while the half marathon and 12 km overall start at 11 a.m.

• Timing is done digitally, but with a common start time (without chip).

• When you finish, the usual coffee and cake table awaits.

• We will draw lots for prizes, which can be collected in the old gymnasium.

• There are medals for all finishing runners, marked with the achievement.
