Champagnegaloppen

Description

Welcome to Champagnegaloppen – a 5 and 10 km race, organized by Køge Atletik & Motion. The starting shot is every year on December 31 at Køge Stadium at 11:00.

Route

Start at Køge Stadium. The route is 5 km and the race is run on paths in the area around the stadium. The 10 km route is 2 laps. Finish at Køge Stadium. Link to the route will come later.

Starting fee

5 km:

Under 15 years: 60 kr.

15 years and over: 150 kr.

10 km:

150 kr.

There is no separate children's class for 10 km.

Handling fee for Sportstiming 16 kr. is added.

Timing

You run with a disposable chip in your start number. The start number must be worn visibly in front. If you run 10 km, you will get a split time of 5 km.

Catering

There is water in the finish area at the stadium. There is a separate depot with water for the 10 km runners after 5 km. In the foyer of Køge Hallerne, well-deserved champagne, cake and fruit are offered after the race.

Prizes

Prizes for the best man and woman in 10 km, as well as the best man, woman and child in 5 km. There are raffle prizes from our sponsors.

Starting numbers

Can be picked up at Køge Atletik & Motions clubhouse / Tennisklubben, at Stadium 12, Friday, December 27, 2024 at 4:30 PM-7:00 PM or in the Foyer at Køge Hallerne on race day from 09.00 to 10.30.

Number of participants

Max. 750 participants. Register before 21.12 if you want your name on the starting number. Online registration finally closes on 30.12.2024. If not sold out, late registration is possible for a fee of 45 kr.

Training for Champagnegaloppen

Get in shape for Champagnegaloppen. Køge Atletik & Motion offers training with certified trainers for all levels of runners. Feel free to participate a few times for free to see if it's something for you. We run every Tuesday and Thursday from the clubhouse at 17:30. Come in good time so we can find the right team for you.

We look forward to seeing you - preferably in costume.

Participation is at your own risk. The Danish Road Traffic Act must be followed. The entry fee is not refundable if the race is cancelled, for example because the police advise against all exits due to. weather, shutdown due to pandemic or other force majeure.
