Description
The cross-border exercise race will be held on Saturday, September 20, starting from Grænsehallerne, Harkærvej, 6340 Kruså.
5 km and 11 km and 21.1 km Half Marathon
Start at 12.45 for the Half Marathon and at 14.00 for 11 km and at 14.05 for 5 km
There are many exercise races in Denmark, but only one where the participants cross the Danish-German border twice - welcome to the Grænseløbet in Kruså!
The first Grænseløbet was held in 1985. Both then and now, the Grænseløbet's goal is to arrange a race of high sporting quality, ensuring that both the elite runner and the exerciser get a sporting and pleasant experience by participating.
From being a local race with 336 participants, the Grænseløbet has stabilized to a race with approx. 750 participants. Participants who have come from all over Denmark and large parts of Germany - and who have ranged in age from young people under 10 years old to the elderly over 80 years old.
