A number is given, which must be worn visibly at the finish line, timing with a chip

Route and distances:

The race is run on a 5 kilometer circular route, which can be completed 1, 2 or 3 times, corresponding to 5, 10 or 15 kilometers. The route varies slightly over time, to adapt to the forest, the seasons and any requirements from the Danish Forest and Nature Agency. The route looks roughly like this: https://www.strava.com/segments/19299161 The route is varied, forest path, singletrack, low scrub, water passages, approx. 40 meters of elevation gain per lap.

Catering:

There is coffee, tea, juice and various edibles after the race. We encourage runners to bring their own cup. We have a limited number of plastic cups.

Prizes:

Prizes for the winners (men and women) of the 5-10-15km distances as well as raffle prizes

Parking:

There are 3 parking spaces approximately 300 meters apart on Skovlystvej, the first at the intersection of Ravnehusvej/Skovlystvej behind Bryggeri Skovlyst, the next at the race site itself and the last approximately 300 further up Skovlystvej.

The race's mission and history:

The race has been running for more than 10 years, and has, with a few corona cancellations, been held 4 times a year. We are a grassroots race, with a mission to get trail runners, both new and experienced, out to experience the forest and create experiences in Hareskoven. We have an ambition for continuity in the race, and aim for a maximum of 100-150 participants per race, more runners will leave too big an imprint on the forest.

Toilet and changing room:

There are NO toilets/changing room facilities, as we run in the forest, there is a possibility of luggage storage. The nearest toilet with public access is in Hareskovhallen, Månedalsstien, 3500 Værløse.
