Kongsløpet

Description

The race starts in Lauperk, down by Ørsdalsvatnet 60mho at 12:00. From there it is about 300m of cart track, before the race continues through Arvid Mæland's yard, and goes onto the road. After about 4.5km the course turns hard left, onto the road that goes towards Skykula. Here the road is followed all the way to the top 906mho. The last 100m is on a path towards the cairn. Intermediate times will be taken at Skineldvatnet, about 6km from the start.

The course will be well marked, and people who can show the way at critical points.

Drink/food stations will be set up at 6km and 9km. Drinks, fruit and sweets will be served here.

Parking is in Arvid Mæland's yard. Address Lauperak 1620, 4387 Bjerkreim.

The public is asked to park at Skineldvatnet. This will be marked.
