LNBK Ringkøbing Fjord Winter Edition 2025

Description

Ringkøbing Fjord Winter Edition is an annual recurring ultra race in West Jutland in January.

Welcome to the 6th edition of the winter run at Ringkøbing Fjord on Saturday 11 January 2025.

The route is the same as the Ringkøbing Fjord Round Summer Edition in August. The weather is cooler, but the surroundings are still the scenic West Jutland. The route is not marked, but is run using a GPX file that you download to your watch.

Choose between the 100 km distance starting in Ringkøbing all around the fjord or the 50 km distance starting in Nymindegab.

The depots

The depots contain Coca Cola, Ribena juice, water, hot drinks, various chips, various energy products, snacks and sweets.

The midway depot for the 100 km runners in Nymindegab offers the tradition of Margrethe's tomato soup.

Programme

07:30 the 100 km runners start from Ringkøbing Svømmehal, Kongevejen 52 in Ringkøbing.

11:50 50 km runners are taken by bus from Ringkøbing Svømmehal to the start.

13 :00 50 km runners start at from Nymindegab Familiecamping, Lyngtoften 12 in Nymindegab.

Time limit

22:30 for all participants. That is you must be at the finish line by this time at the latest.

14:00 there is a curfew at the 50 km mark. That is if you run 100 km, you must have passed Depot Nymindegab by this time at the latest.
