Description
The Lyon Urban Trail is a unique race through the city of Lyon, featuring steep climbs, narrow streets, and many of its iconic landmarks.
Lyon invented the Urban Trail in 2007, a concept now used in hundreds of cities in France and Europe. But it is in the unique setting of the City of Lights, with its very particular typology and exceptional historical heritage, that this beautiful idea of “running differently”, which combines sporting challenge and tourist discovery.
The approximately 6,000 steps of stairs and more than 1,300 m of altitude difference for the long course still make it a real Trail, but the numerous “spots” of the LUT, at the top of which the crossing of the Subsistances or the Gallo-Roman site of Fourvière, are always special moments. Lyon Urban Trail is definitely a race in its own right, magical and exhilarating.
