Martec 1/2 Marathon

Description

Martec ½ Marathon is organized in connection with the students' regular training in the run-up to their trip with the School Ship Denmark, before they start the trip with the School Ship Denmark.

The students have trained regularly during their stay at the school and several of the students want to try their hand at the ½ Marathon distance.

It is of course free if you want to run/walk the 21.1 km, but of course you do what you can :-)

Come and help give the many students a great experience and help many of them finish their first ½ marathon.

Each lap is only 3.54 km, which makes it easy to see and maybe even easier to "just do one more lap"

Diploma... can be printed after the race via Sportstiming.dk

Medal .... to everyone who completes the 1/2 Marathon

Cloakrooms & toilets.... unfortunately no cloakrooms, but there will be toilets right at the start/finish

Depot... . Martec provides the refreshments for the students and Coast2Coast for other participants, i.e. there will be 2 refreshment zones along the way

Start and finish.... will be in the parking lot right behind the fair.

The route.... which is run in a circuit around Martec Maritime School, Palmestranden and Kragholmen. The route is 3.54 km and must be run 6 times, for each lap the running direction is reversed, i.e. 3 laps each way, so you meet everyone else along the way and can shout "Good run" "Good trip" or "You look damn good"

Timing... you are responsible for having the laps counted and then writing down your time for the subsequent results list.

The time is noted on the block located in the Coast2Coast trailer.

Max time for completion.... 3 hours and 15 min, but if it takes 3:20 then the finish portal has not been taken down ;-)
