Nordfyns Cannonball Marathon – Klub 100 Marathon Danmark

On Saturday 6 April 2024, Nordfyn's Cannonball Marathon will hold a race in collaboration with Klub 100 Marathon Danmark.

We start from Otterup Idrætscenter Stadionvej 50, 5450 Otterup.

There is an option for Marathon (70 places), Half Marathon (30 places ).

During the race there is a depot with sweet, salty, soft drinks and water.

After the race there is something to eat and drink in the hall's café, where there is also plenty of opportunity for socializing.

Start : all distances at 09.00

Bathing and changing: Yes

Participation fee: DKK. NOK 150 incl. medal, depot, food and drink after the race.

Places: Max. 100 (70 Marathon and 30 Half Marathon)

A waiting list is created, so if one of the distances is not sold out, more of the other distance will be opened up.

The race: The race is run according to the cannonball principle, and according to Klub 100 Marathon Danmark rules.

You keep track of the time yourself, the watch must not be stopped en route, nor during toilet visits, and remember to switch off the auto-stop on the watch. A clock and a list will be placed at the start, so that you can see your time if the clock ticks or you don't have one. You write the time yourself on the list, which is subsequently published. You run just like in all other races the ENTIRE distance, regardless of what is on the clock or whether you run incorrectly along the way.

The route: 7 km. round, and is marked with flags and chalk lines.
