The SportScheck RUN Nuremberg takes place every year on German Unity Day in the largest Franconian city.
SportScheck RUN in Nuremberg is the largest popular sports event in northern Bavaria. Since 1995, Middle Franconia has traditionally started every year on German Unity Day. This time too we are expecting up to 7,000 enthusiastic running participants to complete one of our 5 routes. The 10 kilometer long circuit first takes you through the historic old town of Nuremberg to Lake Wöhrder. Along the shore you go to the Dr. Gustav Heinemann Bridge to cross the lake. Then we walk along the bank back to the destination. An exclusive finisher medal awaits you there as a reward for your efforts.
