Description

Bergen Fjellkarusell 2024 is three races that are organized in different places in Bergen's mountain area. New routes and new challenges. You can participate in a competition or fitness class. The trails go on terrain with varying surfaces, and will be somewhat technically demanding, even if we plan to follow paths and some forest roads.. The trails are marked with pennants or marking tape and there are guards on the trail where the organizer deems it necessary.\ n

Race 3: Dyrdalsrunden 804 m.a.s.l.

Date: Tuesday 11 June 2024. Start: 18:00-18:20 for fitness class. At 18:30 for the competition class. Trail description: Perhaps Bergen's finest running experience. Here you get wide open spaces, high mountains, forests, marshes and, not least, fantastic views. We start at the Bontveit turnpike, follow the forest road north to Bjørnarstølen, further up the ridge to Nobbane and then we follow Rett Vest's route towards Austerinden 804 (eldorado among the rando people in winter). Now the track continues due south towards the ridge up Hausdalshorga and steeply down Dyrdalen via Bjørnastølen and to the finish line. Length: 12 km
