Bergen Fjellkarusell løp 4 – Dyrdalsrunden

Description

The Bergen Fjellkarusell consists of six races at various locations in Bergen's mountain areas. It is planned to follow paths and forest roads, but some parts can be technically demanding. Start and finish will be in the same place and all races are over a mountain. The trails are marked with pennants or ribbons and there are guards on the trail where the organizer deems it necessary.

You can either participate in the competition class or the trim class. The competition class is for you who like the pressure from other runners and the fitness class will suit you who want to participate at your own pace. There is a joint start in the competition class, but an open start in the fitness class within 20 minutes of the start time for the class.

Course: Starts at Bontveit-snuplass, follows the forest road north to Bjørnarstølen, further up the ridge to Nobbane and then we follow Rett Vest's route towards Austerinden 804 (Eldorado among the Rando people in winter). Now the track continues due south towards the ridge up Hausdalshorga and steeply down Dyrdalen via Bjørnastølen and to the finish line. Perhaps Bergen's finest running experience. Here you get wide open spaces, high mountains, forests, marshes and, not least, fantastic views.
