Skiveløbet

Description

The cross-country skiing takes place in beautiful surroundings with routes along the Limfjord, along the meadows by Karup Å and in Krabbesholm Forest, which are run on asphalt, trail systems and forest paths. It is one of the largest exercise races in Jutland with several thousand participants.

Half marathon and 9 km run out along the fjord past the campsite and back towards Skive, where you run on both new and old routes, finally getting a walk through the forest.

When 5 km has started, they have to immediately turn left up the "Resenlund hill", it's a bit of a rough start, but then there aren't any more hills of that size either. When you are up, you run onto the old route back to the forest, where you run approx. 1.5 km before the finish.

The 2.6 km route is completely new. There is also a run along Skive Fjord to the end of the forest, to the left into the forest and back up past Resenlund and down to Spejderhuset, where the other distances also come out on Strandvejen and to the finish line.

The gold medal run is 16.6 km and is for the runners who register for the three races, 2.6 km, 5.0 km and 9.0 km. Routes and start coincide with the three distances. A race for the cool ones.
