Tordenskioldløpet

Description

Tordenskioldløpet is a street race with 10 and 5 km tracks that is organized by Sports Club Freidig på Lade in Trondheim every year in mid-May. The race was held for the first time in 1980 and in the 80s the race had around 2,000 participants. Since then there have been slightly fewer, but it is still normal with over 1,000 participants divided into 5 km, 10 km and the exercise classes.

The Tordenskioldløpet is divided into several classes and there is room for everyone who takes up the challenge. Therefore, the whole family can join - based on each individual's requirements. Tordenskioldløpet invites exercisers, joggers, runners, suitcase runners - old and young. The goal is for as many runners and exercisers as possible to join in the jogging party at Lade.
