Description

The troll hunter test is a terrain obstacle race for adults. You can participate in the race from the year you turn 16. You can participate alone or with others in different categories. It is an obstacle course designed to be challenging for both strength and fitness, but also to provide a unique experience. A slightly different "mountain tour" in Norwegian nature. Trolljeger is a unique concept with a very own philosophy that is about the joy of mastery.

The joy of mastery is not something that comes by itself, nor is it just any type of mastery. It's about more than just getting something done, it's about defeating something you didn't think you could do. It's about getting over an obstacle you didn't think was possible and it's about pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, into what we don't know. It's about trying, being vulnerable, being yourself. That's when it goes from being a struggle to a joy of mastering, not only have you achieved it, but it has cost both strength and courage to do it.

In Bergen, the race will be held in September. For the past four years, the Troll Hunter Trial has been organized at Fløyen. The wing really offers a powerful and stereotypical Norwegian landscape, and the trail itself is added to the large forest area. With bark underfoot and a troll statue welcoming you, it's easy to see how Trollhunters found their place up here. Sitting on the Fløibanen as the start and end of the event adds something extra to the whole experience. Although the weather conditions in Bergen are known to be somewhat more humid than average, that only makes the event in Bergen more unique. Not only are we in a troll forest on top of a mountain, but we really get to feel the Norwegian weather and test our Trollhunter powers. One can describe the wing as "Where no one would think that anyone could live", especially if you have walked or driven up the winding road along the mountain. This is probably part of the reason why both participants and crew travel from all over the country, including Sandnes, to take part in Trolljeger Bergen.
