Viking Challenge

Description

Downhill enthusiasts have a challenge in their calendar here, when the Gaustatoppen is to be climbed from two sides with timing and prizes for everyone. The toughest can challenge themselves on almost 1,500 meters of elevation spread over just under 12 kilometres, with a shared start at the Rjukan stadium.

The more popular trail starts from Svineroe, and offers 800 meters of even elevation spread over four kilometres. Participate as a club, company or family, with an open start. Finish at Gaustahytta at the top.
