Sparebanken Norge-stafetten - KnarvikMila

Description

The Sparebanken Norge relay is KnarvikMila's race for colleagues, family, friends or sports teams who want to challenge themselves with a short and intense relay together.

Each team consists of 5 runners. Create your own team with your favorite colleagues or good friends.

The relay consists of 5 short stages from approx. 300 m to approx. 1.5 km. The stages are short enough that everyone can complete a stage, but challenging enough if you want to run it as fast as possible. Because here things can really get away when the adrenaline is pumping through your body, the motivation and the atmosphere are at its peak!

The start and finish are at Knarvik Stadion and all stages will have a changeover right next to the stadium. It will therefore be possible to follow your team almost the entire time. When you run your stage, you will never be far from a good colleague or teammate who will cheer you on until the next changeover!

Immediately after the relay, all participants gather for a joint gathering in Nordhordlandshallen. There will be an award ceremony, light refreshments, mingling, bragging rights and a good atmosphere with other runners, support staff and cheerleaders. Come as you are – slightly sweaty training clothes are the standard attire on this day!

There will be prizes for the three best teams at the Sparebanken Norge relay!

Course description:

1st stage: 900 m

The start will be in front of the stage at Knarvik stadium, heading south, out towards Knarvik youth school, into the parking lot and around Juvikstølen to the kindergarten and down towards Brekkeløypa for the changeover.

2nd stage: 1500 m

From the changeover and into Brekkeløypa's western entrance, around the entire Brekkeløypa and to the changeover at the eastern exit.

3rd stage: 400 m

From the exit in Brekkeløypa, past NBK's clubhouse, up the gravel hill and behind the stands at Knarvik stadium. Follow the gravel road until you come down to Nordhordlandshallen and the changeover outside the hall.

4th stage: 700 m

From the changeover, run past Kraftbua and follow the same loop around Juvikstølen that was used in the first stage, to the changeover between the entrance to Brekkeløypa and the artificial grass track.

5th stage: 300 m

This will either be a short charming stage to the finish or a tough sprint showdown against your competitors. 300 flat, fast meters on asphalt and the tartan surface of the stadium, before you can cross the finish line in front of the stage and the stands to glory, honor and the good feeling of having done something fun together with good friends and colleagues.

In total, the Sparebanken Norge relay is approx. 3800 meters filled with excitement, drama and lots of fun together with others!
