A bit about me: 47-year-old (soon to be 48) old lady who likes to run, who has been active all her life, including playing handball in the 1st year. division. When handball was put on the shelf 20 years ago, I started running, and signed up for the first one half marathon in 2010. I was sold then. A week before I turned 40, I ran my first marathon in NY and have since there have been 47 more marathons, and 22 more half-marathons, as well as a number of 10 km races. I guess I'm in the exerciser + category as far as times are concerned. I still have ambitions, such as pushing at all three distances, but in no rush. The joy of running is at the centre, regardless.

After traveling abroad several times and experiencing how nice it is to run in greater conditions, I started my own running travel company, TH Run Travels, in 2017.

In 2016 I decided to start the project "50 marathons before 50 years" So far I have run in 20 cities in 14 countries and a number of marathons in Norway, in large and small places. I will finish the project on November 24 this year, 1 year and 51 weeks premature. Number 49 will be raced in Nice on 3 November and three weeks later the project will be completed in Curacao iCaribbean.

I have no plans to stop running marathons, but think that 4-6 marathons a year in the future is a pass quantity.
In 2017 I ran 13 marathons in 10 months, otherwise I have been running 7-8 annually in the last few years from 2014-2016. IN last year I ran 6 and this year I run 5.

For me, it is important to convey the message that "I can - everyone can". It is no hocus pocus to run one marathon, or even a half-marathon if you train sensibly and combine the joy of running with the enjoyment of life. There is one important philosophy and a common thread for me.
