In a hectic everyday life, there is a solitaire that has to go up, and exercise is one of the things that has to have a place. In my solitaire I have added training at a time when many are still in dreamland. This is why:
- At 07.00 I leave home
- From 08.00 and 16.00 it is full time to work
- Due to the route, I will be home between 17.00 and 18.00
"It's so sick to get up at 04.15"…
Yes, maybe it is for some, but for me it is a routine during the hectic periods. It's not like I I don't prioritize enough sleep during these periods. In fact, I sleep more than many. During the periods when I get up at 04.15 I also go to bed early. In fact, it's not uncommon for me to go to bed at 19.00 to get enough sleep, even if that sometimes I delay it until 8 p.m. If you go to bed at 23.00 it is of course sick to get up at 04.15 for to exercise.
"Why don't you just work out after work?"...
After 8 hours at work, I, like many others, get tired. The door jamb is extra long. The sofa tempts more. The motivation is non-existent. You have to muster the willpower to get in training, and it happens that planned sessions are not carried out because you really just want to relax before another hectic day.
I get up at 04.15 because:
- I want to train before my body and mind get tired from everyday life.
- I want to start the day with something I love, which gives me energy and joy.
- Training is a priority in my everyday life, and what I prioritize I want to start the day with.
- When I train in the morning, there are no random events that prevent me from completing the session (when they most are asleep).
- I have no obligations that prevent me from going to bed early.
- I will have a quieter afternoon.
So when you get home from work and have to make a choice between the couch or exercise, I'm ready to completely relax, because my session is already done!
