Æ Quernstensløb

Æ Quernstensløb is an old traditional race that for many years has been and is still held in accordance with with the local town festival. The race's distances consist of a 2.5 km family run as well as the classic 5.1 and 9.6 km exercise runs for both walking and running with many good prizes.

Æ Quernstensløb takes place on a scenic route out past the Quern Stone, and Northern Europe's largest Å- meander Ribe å. The routes are flat, but take place on dirt roads and grass paths approx. half of the stretch and the rest on country roads/pavements/cycle paths. The family run takes place on a flat route, consisting of field road/country road/pavement/cycle path, where it is possible to travel with children/strollers or baby joggers. There will be a liquid depot with water at the Quernstenen for both 5.1 and 9.6 km. In the finish area there is water and fruit for all participants.
