Fredrikstadmarka Rundt

Fredrikstadmarka Rundt is a 20 km long traditional forest run. The route runs through large parts of Fredrikstad's idyllic open-air area, an area that is referred to as an Eldorado by everyone who loves and appreciates beautiful nature.

The 20 km long round is considered one of the real classics among Norwegian forest runs, and the race route has largely the same since the start in 1974. For a forest run, the trail is easy to run, with nice sections of path and good dirt roads. The course records are held by Mats Haldin (1:07:08 from 2002) and Jorunn Rekkedal (1:16:17 from 1994).

There are 3 refreshment stations on the course.

The Markatier'n is organized at the same time and follows parts of the same course .
