The depot is at the start/finish and is passed once per lap. The depot will consist of bananas, sweets, salt bars, water and soft drinks etc. There is also a water depot in the middle of the route.

We are repeating the success of running on the Savanna, so now you once again have the opportunity for a different and exciting running experience among animals from all over the world.

It is a pleasant run according to the cannonball principle, which means that there is no chip. Each participant takes their own time. We start all our clocks at the same time at the start, and the clock must not be stopped en route - not even when going to the toilet and the like. The clock must not be stopped until you cross the finish line. After the race, the time is noted in the race report.

By registering, you accept that the race takes place at your own risk. You also give permission for us to publish your name on the participant list and your result on the results list as well as use any photos from the races.

There is a medal for everyone who completes the race. The medal is handed out after the time has been recorded. Diploma can be downloaded as soon as possible after the race at www.fredskovmarathon.dk via the results list.

The route is 7.1 km. Three laps are run for the half marathon and six laps for the marathon. In addition, 7 km, 14 km and 28 km are run. The route is marked but not blocked off, and we must respect other road users. Pay attention to the animal grates so you don't get hurt.

You must not throw rubbish in the park. Use the bins in the depot or on the route.

There is a time limit of 5 hours, so we can be out of the park before the gate closes at 17.00.

The park opens exceptionally at 9.00 for runners. Use the Maglemer entrance and remember that transport to the starting area must be done by car or motorbike. Come in good time so that you are ready for the start at 11 a.m.

Start/finish is at Limpopoland. See possibly map at www.knuthenborg.dk. Limpopoland is a lovely area of the park with toilet facilities, eating places and a large nature playground. Right next to the depot is a large green area with the possibility of a picnic. It is a race where it is obvious to bring the family along.

The price for participating in the race is DKK 275 for all distances, which includes entrance to the park and a special medal.

We will send the start number and entry ticket to Knuthenborg Safaripark at the end of April/beginning of May to your address. Be sure to notify us if you change your address. Entrance ticket only gives access to the runner.

It is not possible to get a refund of the entry fee, but you are welcome to transfer the number to someone else and change the distance. It can also be done in the park on race day.
