Descripción
The freestyle is a pleasant exercise run in Copenhagen, where everyone can take part. Set a personal record of 10 km, or enjoy the tour to many of Copenhagen's sights.
The freestyle routes take you past some of the most historic places in Copenhagen. Start and finish are at the fine Østerbro Stadium. Then you run into the Fælledparken along the Filosofgangen (the path along the Park), down to Øster Allé and further down to the Trianglen. Then the trip goes directly towards The Little Mermaid. From there continue along Langelinie and Nordre Toldbod and then along Larsens Plads towards Amaliekaj. There is a view of the Opera and the former marine station on Holmen, before turning onto toldbodgade and on to Amalienborg Slotsplads. As one of the only exercise races in the country, the Free Run has permission to cross this square.
Now you run along Amaliegade heading directly towards the Gefions Fountain and from the bridge there is a view of the old fortress Kastellet, which was built as one of the city's ramparts under Christian 4 before running back along Langelinie again. Finally, the course is set towards Sortedamssø, before Fredensbro has to be crossed, and the runners are led into Fælledparken to the arrival and finish at Østerbro Stadium.
There will be liquid depots along the route with both water and energy drinks.
There will be a tent to wardrobe, which is monitored. In addition, there is a staffed safe deposit box.
