Craft Idre Fjällmaraton exists so that you as a mountain runner can experience the interaction with nature. You run along shack trails through areas where cabins have been built and where man meets the wilderness. Your feet take you over rocks and roots, you drink in a mountain stream, maybe grab a couple of gooseberries on a bog, you look up and get new energy from the beautiful views. Over there in the distance sits Städjan. The volcano-shaped peak that rises 1,131 meters above sea level and which in 1844 inspired the young folklorist Rickard Dybeck to write the stanza "Du gamla du fria" in what became our national anthem. "God's abode" considered Olof Rudbeck. Once you're up on the mountain, you can form your own opinion.

We think it's everyone's right to feel unbeatable at some point. Not in relation to anyone else, but in relation to yourself. Unbeatable for achieving something you didn't think was possible.
