Debno Marathon is the oldest, best and one of the fastest marathon runs in Poland. The average of the top ten results in the women's category is 2:29:34, and in the men's category it is 2:11:03 . Maraton Dębno has been held for the first time in 1969, the year's run will be 49th edition. The start and the finish are in the small town of Dębno which is situated in the West Pomerania Province near the border with Germany, approximately 110 kilometres from Berlin. The city of Debno bears the honorable title CAPITAL OF POLISH MARATHON. The route consists of four laps (two short loops and two long loops) through the town, through forests and rural areas and through the villages of Dargomyśl and Cychry.

The course is mostly flat and fast and closed to traffic during the race, and it has been accurately measured and certified. In addition to marathon organisers have forseen a marathon relay and 10 km run.
