The downhill race is held on historical grounds in the path that during the war was used by Russian prisoners of war who worked to build mountain fortifications. Today, the route is part of the cultural heritage trails in Fjell Municipality and the course follows the marked Nordsjøløype trail. The race's finish area is at the glass pavilion built over the cannon well at Fjell festning. This is an exciting area with a fantastic view over the coastal areas of Sotra. Food and drink will be sold in the target area.
