Steinsland Bygdemaraton

Descripción

Steinsland Bygdemaraton Ogge Rundt runs around Ogge, a large body of water in Birkenes and Iveland. The race starts in the yard of Odd Gunnar Tveit. There will be 10 refreshment stations along the trail. There will be kiosk sales in the start/finish area.

The marathon route starts at Steinsland, goes to Samkom and continues up Sjerkedalen, passes Geitekjørka and goes on to Vatnstraum, then to Oggevann station and south on the east side of Ogge to Vassbotn, Dalanshola and back to Steinsland.

The half-marathon follows the same course as the marathon for 10 km where it takes over Klepp and re-enters the marathon course when there are 8 km left to the finish.

10 km the runners are driven out 10 km by tractor and trailer almost to Buli . There they start and run back to Steinsland. Follows the same course as the marathon course.
