Once upon a time in Denmark (like in 2011) ... there were few runners who loved marathons too much and wanted to run every week. So they created races to do just that. Other people followed and when the pandemic of 2020 hit the world and closed much of it this new craze hit Sweden as well. Also - 40 years is a long time for a mid size town in Sweden not to have a marathon! I had this idea for years but now it coincides well with a wish too show the town of Lund in general and Norra Fäladen in particular as well as an excuse to hang out after work and drink lots of water and eat energy bars - welcome to the gax revolution marathons.
