The Torghatten Maraton is a race event located in Brønnøy, "In the middle of Leia, in the middle of Norway". The full and half marathon start and finish at Nordhus Stadium and run on asphalt and gravel in scenic surroundings along Helgeland's beautiful archipelago. The course is fairly flat and easy to run and the full marathon runs as two laps on the same course as the half marathon.

The event also has other distances, which are suitable for most people.
