Folkeløpet is a unique low-threshold event that brings together people who like to run from all corners of the country. Whether you're a seasoned runner who's crossed countless finish lines, or you're just starting to lace up your running shoes, there's a distance for everyone. We want to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone can participate, whether you want to run in competitive mode or just enjoy a pleasant run in beautiful surroundings.

There is something special about Sjusjøen and the beautiful gravel path along Sjusjøvannet and the fresh mountain air gives you a running experience you won't soon forget. The trails take you through spectacular scenery, with panoramic views that will take your breath away. Whether you choose the short distance of 5 km to take it easy or challenge yourself on the longer route of 10 km, you will surely be rewarded with fantastic experiences and a sense of mastery. There will also be a children's run of about 1 km for the little ones. And there will be a children's race on the same course.
