Arctic Alta Ultramaraton

Description

The Arctic Alta Ultramarathon is a cross-country race and hike in which everyone can participate. The ultra race is the main distance, but there are several shorter distances plus a relay variant to choose from. Everyone who takes part gets a T-shirt and the top 3 in all classes will be rewarded.

The event takes place at the end of August, and cold weather can be expected. Correct clothing and nutrition are important with this in mind. Along the way there are several drink stations and after the finish there are shower facilities and a café. It is also possible to reserve accommodation at Tverrelvdalen school before the race.

The Arctic Alta Triple consists of the ski and fat bike festival in February and the ultra race in August. The goal is to become Finnmark's largest exercise event. It should be a real challenge for most people, and something you are proud to complete. The trails show off much of Alta's beautiful nature, and can make more people see Alta as a natural destination. Arcit Alta hopes to recruit those who do not often participate in competitions and have a desire to increase the proportion of women.
