Description
The Asics Sentrumsløpet is a race for both beginners, exercisers and elite runners and is one of Norway's largest running events with over 10,000 participants over 10 km in 2019. Both start and finish are in Karl Johans gate and the race passes well-known landmarks such as the Castle, Frognerparken, Oslo City Hall, Akershus Fortress and the Stortinget.
With so many registrants, pools start and to get into the fastest pools there is seeding. The three fastest women and men at both distances are rewarded with a cash prize.
There is a drink station along the 10 km and after the finish line bananas and other snacks are served.
The public is most welcome to watch and cheer around the entire course. There will also be activities for young and old in Spikersuppa during the event.
