DGI Nordjysk Trail Cup - Hammer Bakker Trail

Welcome to the original Hammer Bakker Trail - Sponsored by Spar Nord Vodskov. This year we can celebrate the 10th anniversary of the DGI Trail Cup series, which Hammer Bakker Runners has been a part of, from the early start in 2015 with only four running clubs as organizers. The Trail Cup has been a great success throughout all ten years and has developed steadily since the start, to the current eight organizers who, together with DGI. will help to give you a really great experience. Distances Hammer Bakker Trail is held in the beautiful and hilly surroundings of Hammer Bakker. Where you can try your hand at a 7 km round trip and an optional number of laps corresponding to a distance of 7 km, 14 km or half marathon. Time limit for completing the race: 3 hours, i.e. timing stops at 13:00. Start and finish Start and finish area is the parking lot at Aalborg Municipality's Elderly and Handicap Administration at Storemosevej 17 in Vodskov. entrance from Storemose vej . Number collection takes place from 8:45 until the start of the race at 10:00. Depot There is a depot at the finish area, with fresh fruit, chocolate, chips, cola, water and cocoa milk. After completing the trail run, there is a free soda or beer and a well-cooked grilled sausage and bread. HBR Trail Cup Route The route is a mixture of gravel paths and real, hilly MTB/trail tracks, so trail shoes are recommended. Hammer Bakker has been selected as one of Denmark's largest nature restoration projects. The Danish Nature Conservation Association wants to increase biodiversity in a large part of Hammer Bakker. In this connection, wild horses, goats and highland cattle have been released, which with their presence within the fenced area are expected to contribute to the increased biodiversity. Our Trail route goes through part of the fenced area. There will therefore be a chance to meet the animals that are loose. The animals must be treated with respect, so it is recommended to keep a little distance from them.  Changing and toilet facilities For changing, please refer to Vodskov Kultur- og Idrætscenter, Brorsonsvej 3B, Vodskov. However, there is limited opportunity to bathe.  Note: There will be a double toilet van set up in the start/finish area.  Medals  All participants will receive a very nice metal medal after completing the race.  Results After the race you can download your diploma.
