WELCOME TO THE MOUNTAIN MARATHON!
For the 45th time, we have the pleasure of inviting young and old exercise runners of all ages to an unforgettable weekend at Beitostølen.
In 2025, more than 2,000 participants took advantage of Jotunheimen to complete one of the distances at the Mountain Marathon.
The Mountain Marathon at Beitostølen offers everything from lonely battles along Sjoavatnet to full speed from Valdresflya down to Beitostølen. It all ends with a public festival in the city center and Blemmeball until the small hours.
From the start of the marathon to Beitostølen, there is almost 500 meters of altitude difference, and on certain days the weather conditions at Valdresflya can be completely different than at Beitostølen. This is experienced by many as an exotic, exciting and beautiful run through beautiful nature, which feels very rewarding to complete.
