Fjordkraft Bergen City Milen

Description

It is a pleasure to be able to welcome 10 km in the center of Bergen. The race will be held for the fifth time on 14 September 2024 starting at 4 p.m. The organizing club TIF Viking welcomes you to another race party in the streets of Bergen; welcome to Fjordkraft Bergen City Milen.

The trail runs from Torgallmenningen - into Rådhusgaten and further into Kaigaten past the railway - further to the back of the city station and on the footpath past AdO. The trail then goes on foot/cycle path to Møllendalsbakken and down towards Møllendal chapel. Here the trail goes on a cycle path to Helikopterplassen. The runners then follow the walkway along the seafront back to AdO. Here we run along the sea side of the AdO building before the runners return back to the old Nygårdsbro towards Solheimsviken.

The runners follow the edge of the wharf for a bit in Damsgårdsundet before taking up Damsgårdsveien. In Damsgårdsveien, there is running on the pavement to Småpudden. Onward over Småpudden, a short lap on Marineholmen, through Nygårdsparken, before the runners return towards the centre. At Media City, you run up to Johannes Bruns gate. The trail continues up Hans Tanks gate and into Fosswinckels gate. This street follows the runners until they run down Bohrs gate, into Vestre Torggate and straight to the finish line at Torgallmenningen.

From 14.00-1500 there will be an activity park for children at Torgallmenningen.

At 15.00 there will be a children's run at Torgallmenningen . The children's run is 600 metres.
