KIA Fjällmaraton 45K

Description

Ahead of the 21st edition of Sweden's most historic and prestigious mountain race, we aim to complete our "dream course" of over 45km.

The track stretch takes the participants from Trillevallen over four mountains, Välliste, Grofjället, Hållfjället and Ottfjället before the final spectacular passage over Ridvadet before the finish in Ottsjö.

The course is demanding and offers varied terrain and technical sections. The 45 km and 1,800 meters of altitude make high demands on the participants and give finishing times well above races with a similar distance. Depending on how wet it is in the terrain, the times can also be affected from year to year.

With the historic 20th edition of the main race during the week, we want to try to do something extra. We look forward to seeing as many of the winners as possible over the years on the starting line and also those of you who have participated in various editions over the years.

Fjällmaraton is an experience race that is aimed at all types of participants, from the exerciser who only has the goal to get around the beautiful stretch of track to the elite runner who wants to take on a real challenge.

An extra medal is awarded to those who pass the medal time. For Men 5h 45min and Ladies 6h 30min
