Kokkola Ultra Run X

Description

Distances and series: 6h, 12h, 24h N/M.

Awards: The top three women and men of each distance will be awarded. All participants will receive a medal. 

Maintenance: The changing rooms, toilets and saunas of the Kokkola Sports Hall are in use throughout the event. There are maintenance tables and chairs next to the running route. Runners can leave their belongings behind locks for storage. 

Event catering: sports drink, water, vichy, CocaCola, Jaffa, mixed juice, chips, pickles, sea salt crystals, pretzel sticks, banana, chocolate, honey and loose candies. For 24h runners in addition: tea, coffee, meat broth, noodles, jam sandwiches, meetwurst sandwiches, oatmeal, blueberry soup. Runners can bring a mug with their own name to the maintenance table for a drink. This reduces waste from disposable cups.

Route description: The route is officially measured at 864.2 meters. The route is quite flat, with only about one meter of ascent per lap. Half of the route is asphalt and half gravel. You can also run on the adjacent lawn on the asphalt section.

Other: The length of the route is measured using the chip timing method. The running route is located in the immediate vicinity of the sports hall in the center of Kokkola. There are plenty of parking spaces in the area right next to the running track (behind the sports hall). There is also an SF Caravan motorhome parking lot right next to the track, so those arriving by motorhome can park their cars in a good spot. The spaces are rented by the Kokkola Sports Hall, so please contact them there. (Vapaudentie 1, 67100 Kokkola, tel. 040-5216410). Participation cannot be canceled, and the participation fee is not refundable. Participation can be postponed to the following year.
