Kruke's Ultra-Trail Challenge (KUTC)

Description

KUTC is a challenging off-road race in Malvik/Trondheim that has been organized every year in mid-October since 2018. The race starts at Jamthaugen in Saksvik (Malvik municipality), and goes up to the top of Solemsvåttan 423 m above sea level and back to the start again. The round is 6.7 km with 367 meters up/down during one round. The runners can sign up for any multiple of 4 rounds up to 24. That is, 4, 8, 12, ..., 24 rounds. In addition to choosing the fastest runners for each distance, there is also a competition in the competition to complete the most laps in total. There are cut-off time limits for each round corresponding to 1 hour and 15 minutes per round. It is allowed (and probably a good idea) to accumulate some time in the first rounds in order to have something to go on towards the end. Registration opens at Easter, and registration closes as soon as 30 registrants are reached.
