Mørketidsløpet – Polar Night Halfmarathon – Ishavskraft Marathon

Description

During the Mørketidsløpet in Tromsø's streets, you run in the middle of the day in the blue arctic light that characterizes the dark time. If you're lucky, you can also experience the beautiful northern lights dancing across the dark sky. At Mørketidsløpet you can choose the distance according to your wishes and level: marathon, half marathon, 10 km or 5 km. The participants in the marathon really get to feel the darkness when they run from the outer side of Kvaløya, where there are hardly any buildings or street lights. Half the distance is run along deserted fjords and through an impressive alpine landscape.
