Description
Navy Race OCR is an obstacle race that is organized in maritime surroundings at Karljohansvern in Horten. The race is suitable for anyone who wants to test their limits, both on land, in water and in the forest. The trail is approx. 8 km long, with 30 different obstacles.
Don't let the obstacles stop you from participating, there will be alternative exercises you can choose if the obstacle is too difficult. Navy Race is feasible for everyone!
The race itself takes place in a military environment and the obstacles will have a military theme. Navy Race OCR takes place at Karljohansvern Orlogsstasjon in Horten. With its cannons, trenches, warships and submarines, it is the perfect setting for a military-inspired obstacle course.
The race takes place around gun towers, over warships, along submarines, past various naval vessels, in the forest, on the beach and in the water. This will be tiring, but fun!
There are four different classes: Ordinary is the class for everyone, whether you enter as a team or as an individual participant. This class is great to use, for example, for team building for family teams, companies and sports teams where you can work together through the course.
The elite class is sent out first on the course and is for you who are in good shape and preferably have previous experience of obstacle courses . If you are one of those who want to maintain a high pace through the course, then this is the class for you.
The SEAL class is only for the toughest and each participant is given a weight vest. Men 10 kg, women 5 kg. Five and ten kilos may not sound like much, but it will make a noticeable difference to the participants. The extra weight will give you challenges in races both on land and in water, and when the various obstacles have to be completed.
KIDS is for those between 4 and 13 years of age and runs on a course with its own obstacles adapted to the age group. It should be fun, and everyone should feel mastery. Everyone gets a participation prize and praise for a well-executed event. Sign up, bring friends, the sports team, cousins, neighbors and classmates.
