Congratulations! You have opened the description of the third stage of the 10th anniversary season of the trail run series “Gjensidige Stirnu buks 2023” (Roe buck)!
This time the trail race "Ogres Zilo kalnu Roebuck" will take its participants to the specially protected nature territory "Ogres Blue Hills". Most of the territory of the nature park is occupied by a very rare habitat in Latvia - coniferous forests on ridges which is a ridge of gravel and sand formed by melting glaciers, which is usually around 5-10 m high, with distinctly steep edges, and rises above the surrounding area. They are formed by sediments carried by the melting waters of the glacier. So – there will be both where to run and what to climb!
