Get ready for Norway’s wildest obstacle race when Romerikes Råeste returns to Nannestad Idrettspark on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Designed to challenge strength, stamina, and team spirit, this action-packed event features ravine terrain, over 1,000 meters of elevation, and up to 70 natural and man-made obstacles.

Whether you're a competitive athlete or just looking for muddy fun with friends or family, there's a course for you:

👟 Distances & Categories:

Råtassen (2 km) – A fun-packed course for children ages 3–10, with ~30 obstacles.

5 km – For youth and recreational runners aged 10+, featuring ~40 obstacles.

8 km “Romerikes Råeste” – The signature race for ages 13+, with ~70 brutal, awesome challenges.

🔥 What to Expect:

- Real trail and ravine terrain – raw, steep, and spectacular.

- Technical climbs, crawling, carrying, jumping, and full-body work.

- Epic crowd support and a buzzing festival vibe at the start/finish area.

🧭 Event Info:

- Location: Nannestad Idrettspark, Smedstuvegen 6, 2030 Nannestad

- Parking: Nearby schools (Nannestad vgs & Preståsen). Fee: NOK 100 via Vipps.

- Facilities: Toilets, showers, water refill stations & bag drop available at the sports hall.

- Start kit pickup: Aug 13–15 (17:00–20:00) or race day (at least 1 hr before start).

- Supporters welcome – grab snacks, cold drinks, and cheer from the course!

👕 Tips:

- Wear trail shoes and clothes that cover knees and elbows.

- Bring gloves for grip and a folding chair to relax between rounds.

- All obstacles can be attempted 3 times. Can't complete it? 10 burpees penalty.
