Romeriksåsen på langs

Description

The length of Romeriksåsen runs through some of Norway's most beautiful forest hiking terrain. Here there are no mountains and plains, but wonderful forest terrain with mostly open fine pine forest. The trail also passes many beautiful waters and ponds.

Although the terrain and surroundings are beautiful, it is real trail running with a good deal of technical trail and bog running. 50 kilometers is long, and the surface is partly pleasant and partly technical. The conditions will vary a lot depending on the type of weather in the weeks before the race. A full 36 kilometers are on a blue-marked path, so it is a more demanding trail than the length and height profile would suggest.

There is also extensive self-marking, no one should have to run with a map. The markings are yellow posters with black arrows in addition to marking tape and some spray stripes on the way.

The maximum time of 12 hours is spacious enough for you to walk almost the whole way.
