Romsdalseggen Fjord to Summit

Description

The Romsdalseggen Fjord to Summit is a Romsdalseggen tour of the rougher kind. The start is at Norsk Tindesenter in the center of Åndalsnes. The trail follows the path up and past Nesakla at 700 m above sea level, before continuing on a great path over Vikåa and Høgnosa towards the Isfjorden, crossing Steinselva, and following the path over Furukollen all the way down to the Isfjorden. The track then continues for approx. 3.5 km along the road, past the Civil Defense Camp and onto the Ølstein Bridge. Then follow the path up the old road in Vengedalen, past Selebota and up to the car park in Vengedalen. Here the path begins over the fantastic Romsdalseggen, down the Romsdal stairs and to the finish line at Norsk Tindesenter.
