SOUL TRAIL BY NIGHT

Tikøb IF running department - Running on an autumn evening at Danstrup Hegn in Tikøb.

It had to come again, and as a slightly different race, SOUL TRAIL BY NIGHT must of course also take place on a cold and blustery autumn evening - and remember the headlamps, it's dark out there!

The Soul Trail by night route takes you through a new landscape in Danstrup Hegn - so look forward to it...

But the most important thing of all is a pleasant walk in the evening forest on a 5 or 10 km route and we can have fun in the glow of the evening moon after the race.

Tuesday 10 October 2023 in Danstrup Hegn, 3080 Tikøb.

Route description and distance:

The route consists mostly of singletrack with many changes of direction and roots, as well as some gravel sections. The track can be run by anyone - just remember to adjust the pace to your skills in the track 😊

The start is on gravel where there is room to find your position before the route breaks to the right onto the track. The first kilometer is relatively flat and with a good overview. In kilometers two and three, the degree of difficulty increases. Here the track is narrow with a short view, many changes of direction and roots. Here it's pleasant when you take it easy - and difficult if you want to keep up the pace.

On the last part of kilometer three, there is a gravel section before the route turns back onto the track. From around kilometer 4 there are several meters of altitude to get the heart rate up. And fortunately the roots are there to maintain a high cadence 😊 Kilometer 5 is relatively fast, interrupted by a section that requires good technique to pass at high speed. The last approx. 200m is on gravel.
