Østengaard marathon 2025 gpx Distance: Marathon

Start: Saturday 5 July at 08.00 (short review 10 min. before)

The route: The route has been updated from last year. The race is a long beautiful route of 42.2 km WITHOUT markings. This requires you to use your gpx watch/or be followed by someone who can navigate by their watch.

The route is varied asphalt approx. 21 km and gravel road/trail path 21 km, but can be run in regular running shoes.

Meeting point: Solsortevej 2, 7100 Vejle

Depot: There will be a depot with cola/juice/candy at 17 km and 28 km. There is a possibility of water at 34 km (church), 28 km depot, 22 km Campingpladsen, 17 km depot, 10km Ravning Station, 7km Jernalderby

At the finish there will be a little food and beer/soda.

Rules for cannonball races: We follow the rules of Klub 100 Marathon Denmark. There must be a minimum of three runners who start and complete the marathon. The race will be cancelled the day before at 6:00 PM if there are not at least three marathon runners at the start. You are responsible for having your finishing time measured. The time is noted on the participant list at the depot. The watch must not be stopped during the race and the watch's autopause function must be turned off.

When registering, you accept that the race takes place at your own risk.

No littering is allowed in nature. Please use the trash can at the depot or throw the trash in the trash cans located around the route. Traffic rules must be observed and consideration must be given to others.
