Sunday 5 May 2024 Råskinnet is back!
The traditional Råskinnet is back, and we welcome both new and old rawhides to this spring's challenge.
What is Rawhide? Råskinnet is a terrain race in the area around Sognsvann. It is a tough trail that goes through bogs, on paths, up hills, down hills and through Sognsvann in both the south and north. A challenge for all levels, and everyone who completes it can boast of being a real Råskinn!
Råskinnet is an event for the whole family. The race is also suitable for children and young people. The knobbly is for the youngest with a short and adapted route. Råtassen is for the middle-aged with a somewhat longer and tougher trail than for the youngest. The rawhide is for those aged 16 and over (15-year-olds who are ready for challenges can run Råskinnet). The off-road trail is approximately 9 km long. Some parts of the trail will always vary from year to year in terms of weather and snowmelt.
