RunAgain Premium

What I think best describes RunAgain premium is an "All inclusive pre running" concept. It might sound a little complicated when you first read the words, but I'll tell you what I mean. When you go to RunAgain's website and register for RunAgain premium, you get access to everything you need before a race. Everything from registration to a training plan for the best possible progression, great offers and discounts on all the equipment you need during training up to the race you are going to run.

First of all, you can search among a number of races and running events with different distances, different concepts and types of races (e.g. everything from "normal" races to OCR, ultra, trail, backyard, skyrace, etc.), in both different cities and countries. You can save your favorite events and create your own running calendar. Once you have chosen which race you want to bet on, click on and with a few simple steps you will receive an individually adapted training plan that ensures that you are well prepared for the race and the big goal.

Your training plan is based on, among other things, how old you are, how many times you train a week (or want to train), which race you are training for and what your goal is. After you have answered these questions, it will take a few seconds and then you will receive your personal training plan. You will get an overview of your training plan as well as detailed training sessions. The training program contains both running sessions, strength training adapted to running and days when you should have rest from training. Also, you can tick off the workouts once you've completed them, which I find very satisfying at least.

A little more about me, Isabelle, then. I have participated in many off-road races, OCRs and races between 10km and half marathons. But on 1 June I will run my very first full marathon in Stockholm. Even though I am a trained physical therapist, personal trainer, mental coach and sports massage therapist, being my own coach can be challenging when it comes to preparing for a challenge as big as a marathon actually is.

When I was young I was very focused on performance and I completed every training session to the letter. I ignored my body's signals a little too often. Both the head and the heart wanted more than the body sometimes. Yes, I have previously been elite active in athletics and have extensive experience with training and competitive sports. But it is probably only now, when I am approaching 30, that I have become much better at training smartly. I have become good at listening to my own body and know how it reacts to different types of training. Today I also train with a completely different focus. My goal is to feel joy, endorphins, belonging, get fresh air, feel the sweat flowing, the heart beat, the lungs burn, and usually with a smile on my face. And then the results will actually be very good.

I have not followed my training plan on RunAgain slavishly, and I don't think you should, regardless of the program. Training plans are very good guidelines - they give us a reason and a structure in training. But it is important to listen to our own body, that we dare to rest when we are tired and push ourselves when the body is rested. I want to emphasize that I have benefited greatly from combining my personal RunAgain program with my own experiences of what works well for me. I have increased the amount and intensity at a pace that has suited me, and the progression has been very nice. Discussions with the ambassadors have also helped to give me good support before D-Day, which is now fast approaching.

When you first start running, and you become a true running enthusiast, you'll soon find yourself getting a little geeky about running gear, shoes, clothing, supplements, etc., all to optimize your training - Been there done that. Then you can easily go to RunAgain and find discounts and offers from RunAgain's race-related partners, for example Northug, Saucony, Fuel of Norway, Miiego Audio and more.

Over the years running, I have been a little bad at getting enough fluids and energy during my long runs. But in recent months I have started using Fuel of Norway products during training. This has been a big help in maintaining my energy levels during the long running sessions. And now that summer is approaching and the sun is starting to shine stronger, I will also make sure to get a pair of really good sunglasses from Northug. As a Premium member, you get a good price on these! Tip!

We all love the feeling of belonging and togetherness, so RunAgain has of course thought that it should be possible to make contact with like-minded runners. You will find more about this under the category "My running friends". RunAgain has many ambassadors who spread the joy of running on social media and at various events. I probably speak for all of us when I say that we would be very happy if you came to us with questions about RunAgain or just want tips and advice about running and training.

Hope to see you in summer and autumn!
